This tour is a good choice for travelers who want to relax in somewhere simple, quiet and peaceful. Ngwe Saung has gained its reputation for its whiter sand and bluer water. We will also go to Pathein, one of the largest cities in Myanmar, which is famous for mass rice production and abundant fishing stock, along with a breezy riverfront and brightly colored parasols.
This morning, we will go to Ngwe Saung, a popular beach to the west of Yangon, facing the Bay of Bengal. The whole journey takes about 5 hours. Upon arrival, you are free to relax or explore the surrounding areas.
The whole day is free and you can lie down on the beach and see the world pass you by. Walking along the beach on the white sand and being hugged by cool breeze will definitely make your day.
After breakfast, leave for the nearest city of Pathein. Visit the famous Shwemokhtaw pagoda and look around the traditional parasol-making industries there. The “halawa”, the city’s famous delicacy, is also worth trying. In the afternoon, drive back to Yangon and stay there overnight.
