Chaung Tha Beach is the closest to Yangon and one of the most popular beaches among locals. This tour will give you the chance to get to know local culture a bit deeper, and also to mingle and interact with friendly and welcoming locals.
Pathein is the capital of delta region, once the rice bowl of Asia. You will get to see the Shwemokhtaw Pagoda, sitting at the center of the town that is believed to have been founded in the 3rd century BC. Then, you will visit a parasol-making workshop where the traditional umbrellas are being made by using bamboo, paper, waxed cotton, and silk.
We will be taken to Chaung Tha in the morning which is one of the spectacular beaches in Myanmar, and it is about 5 hours’ drive from the west of Yangon. Upon arrival, you are free to relax and soak up the beach atmosphere or explore the surrounding areas.

After breakfast, we will go to see the important port and historical trade center of Pathein. There,we will get the chance to appreciate the famous Shwemokhtaw pagoda; traditional parasol-making industries; and taste the town’s famous delicacy, the “halawa” In the afternoon, we will drive back to Yangon and stay overnight.
